The Holly Kane Experiment
Holly Kane is an obsessive psychologist who attempts to reprogramme her subconscious mind, but when her actions become increasingly uncharacteristic she fears her experiment is dangerously out of control.
THE HOLLY KANE EXPERIMENT is a dark and intelligent psychological thriller about mind control, centred around one woman’s battle for sanity in the face of extreme psychological pressure. It is the second film from father-son, writer-director team Mick Sands and Tom Sands.
Following a successful festival run, the film was released in Germany, Japan and North America in 2017. In 2018, it was released in the UK and will shortly be hitting screens in China, Scandinavia and across Asia.
"The Holly Kane Experiment stood out for a number of reasons. The tension and mood created with a modest budget, the script, the actors and the overall package were polished and unique. It's what I consider a perfect festival film - one that is yet to be discovered by the masses, but would not be out of place in any cineplex anywhere. Tom Sands is a director of tomorrow with a bright future ahead of him. We eagerly look forward to his next feature film project."
